ABOUT YOU

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Luster, you'll work closely with our sales team to qualify Inbound opportunities and generate sales-ready opportunities. You will act as the first point of contact between many prospects and our team of trained Account Executives. An ideal candidate can determine where there is a potential opportunity for business and qualify, convert, and assign these opportunities quickly and efficiently. This role is ideal for a self-starter who is eager to help grow the company’s lead qualification program and develop into a skilled sales professional. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Qualify Inbound leads through online research, discovery phone calls and email to create sales-ready leads and opportunities

  • Interact with prospects on a daily basis via telephone and email

  • Disseminate opportunities to the appropriate Account Executive using our CRM platform, educating rep as necessary about the opportunity

  • Update lead scoring and prospect interaction in our CRM to ensure efficient lead management

  • Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas

  • Provide closed-loop feedback to ensure continuous process optimization

  • Provide weekly accurate Calls/Meetings Booked forecasts to the sales organization and executive management

  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of company’s sales processes, product lines and value proposition

  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections

 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 1-3 years experience with sales-related experience

  • Highly motivated professional with excellent interpersonal skills

  • Experience using a CRM (ideally Salesforce) to track leads and manage time efficiently

  • Strong negotiating skills and eagerness to develop these skills further

  • A curious nature about customer problems, offering solutions in a consultative manner

  • A creative and entrepreneurial mindset, always looking for ways to improve our product, sales process and overall business

  • High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment and professionalism

  • Passion for events and/or social media marketing is a plus
