ABOUT YOU

We are looking for highly motivated candidates that crave ownership of the entire product life-cycle at a growing company. • Concept and collect ideas for new products and features to solve those problems

  • Build business cases for those solutions and evangelize them to management

  • Build and maintain a product roadmap by prioritizing the implementation of those solutions based on our client’s needs and the resources of the business

  • Lead the implementation of these solutions with the Creative and Engineering teams, ensuring the value they generate for our clients is being maximized

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure our products are clearly and effectively being positioned to the market

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 6+ years experience as a Technology-focused Product Manager, working as part of a high-performing, cross-functional team

  • Ability to develop creative and thoughtful solutions to complex problems

  • A passionate interest in technology and how it is used to create constructive and engaging in-person experiences

  • Hyper-organized and able to methodically prioritize tasks for themselves and others in a fast-paced environment

  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills

  • High degree of comfort using data to make business decisions

  • Ability to translate high-level concepts into user flows and detailed implementation plans

  • A keen eye for detail, including the ability to provide QA to the standard of a luxury product and service (for starters, see if you can spot the typo on this page)

  • Previous experience with hardware and/or experiential marketing is a big plus

OUR CULTURE

Luster is a truly unique company - a profitable, growing start-up that has never taken any outside investment and has no plans to exit. This allows us to optimize for the long-term success of the company. We will not burn ourselves out chasing a billion dollar exit. We will not waste time raising that next round of financing. We want to build a company that provides tons of value to our clients while providing a fulfilling, challenging and fun place to work, today and for decades to come.

Luster HQ is a laid back environment, full of hard workers that trust and rely on each other to deliver the best work possible. Everyone, regardless of role or experience is asked to think about how we can be a better company.

We pride ourselves on our transparency into how the business is run and how decisions are made. Everyone in the office should understand how they directly add value to the company, while also understanding, and learning from, the work of their colleagues.

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION

In addition to a competitive salary, we offer an annual bonus as well as something that sets us apart from most other companies: our Share Appreciation program. This program ensures that as employees contribute to increasing the value of the company in the long-term, they are able to participate in that appreciation, in the form of a cash earn-out. There’s a lot of advantages to this program over conventional Stock Options, but we’ll save that for when you interview with us. Here’s a summary of our benefits and compensation:

  • Competitive salary

  • Annual bonus

  • Share Appreciation program

  • Health, Dental and Vision Insurance

  • Pre-tax commuter benefits

  • Pre-tax FSA accounts

  • Summer Fridays
