Director of International Partnerships

In 2011, we invented Hashtag Printing and today our products have been featured at over 1,500 events in 200 cities across the world, including iconic cultural experiences like the Grammy Awards, Olympics, Super Bowl, and Comic-Con International. Luster’s Partnerships Program was started in 2016 and now is comprised of 10 Partners across 21 countries. The program allows for exclusive rights to use our brand and resell our products in a defined territory. This accelerates our ability to scale while offering a proven product line to interested agencies and entrepreneurs. More info can be found here.


We are looking for an entrepreneurial candidate that can combine their ability to build relationships with their solid organization and project management skills to help take our Partnerships program to the next level. The Director of Partnerships will have the acumen to understand how our business model can meld with that of our partnerships to make each stronger. They will be able to bounce from a Gantt chart to a contract negotiation comfortably and be constantly looking for ways to efficiently leverage all the great work that our HQ team is doing to benefit all of our Partnerships. This role will be considered part of the Leadership team at the company and will report to the CEO.



  • Expand the program by prospecting new candidates and managing the sales process through to a contract being signed

  • Manage relationships with existing Partnerships to ensure they are maximizing their potential

  • Work with the Sales, Ops, Creative, Marketing and Engineering teams at HQ to ensure that their work is able to scale across all International Partnerships

  • Own the PNL and financial reporting for the program

  • Identify new revenue streams for the program



  • 6+ years of work experience spanning B2B business development, account/client management, product management and/or operations management in the tech industry

  • Strong communication and negotiating skills

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to use spreadsheets and other tools to make a data-driven business case

  • Demonstrable understanding of the business model and client lifecycle from all prior employers (e.g. how does a prospect move from marketing to sales to operations effectively)

  • Exceptional organization skills

  • Exquisite problem solving skills and an insatiable desire to improve yourself, others around you and the business in general

  • Proven ability to fluidly work across departments to drive results

  • Start-up experience and international business experience are a bonus, but not required
