Client Experience Manager

Luster specializes in high-tech experiential activations that enable event guests, fans, and social followers, to engage with brands in truly unique ways. In 2011, we invented Hashtag Printing and today our products have been featured at over 1,500 events in 200 cities across the world, including iconic cultural experiences like the Grammy Awards, Olympics, Super Bowl, and Comic-Con International. Headquartered in Brooklyn, NY, our offices now wrap the globe in ten different countries.

With an ever-growing client list, we’re adding new team members and experiencing record company growth. We've achieved this with a highly motivated and diversely skilled crew. We’re looking for people who want to be part of something from the beginning, and help grow it into a global powerhouse.

Here at Luster our clients are at the core of everything we do.  We strive to provide an incredible client experience at every event, and the operations team is responsible for taking care of all the details that go into making that happen. The operations team is made up of the Client Experience Team, our Event Operators, and Hardware Specialists. We pride ourselves on being incredibly organized, amazing problem solvers, passionate about what we do, and always up for a good laugh.

  • Manage and allocate resources to keep all projects within budget

  • Be the point person for various stakeholders including client, sales, creative, and onsite staff

  • Support onsite staff and troubleshoot during events

  • Create and deliver the post-event recap & analytics report

  • 2+ years of work experience

  • People driven. You must be engaging, thoughtful, sincere, and positive

  • Confident in communication skills across various channels including phone, text, and email

  • A problem solver. You have an ability to quickly prioritize tasks, troubleshoot, and stay cool under pressure

  • A talented multitasker. You are happiest juggling many projects

  • Organized! You pride yourself in your ability to keep things tidy and in order

  • A “can-do” kind of person. No task should feel too small or too challenging

  • An entrepreneur at heart. Feel a sense of ownership, and always be looking for ways to improve our product and operational processes

  • Bonus points if you have experience coordinating events and a deep understanding of social media

Luster is a truly unique company - a profitable, growing start-up that has never taken any outside investment and has no plans to exit. This allows us to optimize for the long-term success of the company. We will not burn ourselves out chasing a billion dollar exit. We will not waste time raising that next round of financing. We want to build a company that provides tons of value to our clients while providing a fulfilling, challenging and fun place to work, today and for decades to come.

Luster HQ is a laid back environment, full of hard workers that trust and rely on each other to deliver the best work possible. Everyone, regardless of role or experience is asked to think about how we can be a better company.

We pride ourselves on our transparency into how the business is run and how decisions are made. Everyone in the office should understand how they directly add value to the company, while also understanding, and learning from, the work of their colleagues.

In addition to a competitive salary, we offer an annual bonus as well as something that sets us apart from most other companies: our Share Appreciation program. This program ensures that as employees contribute to increasing the value of the company in the long-term, they are able to participate in that appreciation, in the form of a cash earn-out. There’s a lot of advantages to this program over conventional Stock Options, but we’ll save that for when you interview with us. Here’s a summary of our benefits and compensation:

  • Competitive salary

  • Annual bonus

  • Share Appreciation program

  • Health, Dental and Vision Insurance

  • Pre-tax commuter benefits

  • Pre-tax FSA accounts

  • 401(k)

  • Summer Fridays

  • Office snacks, Nespresso and Brooklyn Roasters coffee

  • Threes Brewing beer on tap

  • Monthly catered lunches

  • We encourage employees to take as much vacation they feel is appropriate, necessary, and/or desired. As long as goals are being met, there is no cap.
